On August 16, 2026, Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream announced a voluntary safety recall affecting a limited number of its highly popular Outshine Fruit Bars. The company initiated the recall due to a potential contamination risk involving foreign material—specifically, the possible presence of glass particles within the frozen bars.

Although there have been no confirmed reports of illnesses or injuries associated with the recalled frozen treats as of the announcement date, consumers are urged to check their freezers immediately and discard any affected products to prevent accidental ingestion or dental damage.

The recall affects specific 6-count boxes containing 2.5-ounce bars of the following five popular Outshine flavors:

No other Outshine products, box sizes, or flavors are affected by this recall alert.


How to Identify Recalled Outshine Products (UPC & Best-By Dates)
