Printing digital copies of Aadhaar, PAN, or Voter ID cards at home can be challenging. Often, the front and back of the cards print at different sizes or misalign, making them unsuitable for wallet lamination.
Standard Card Dimensions (CR80)
The standard size for plastic wallet cards (defined by ISO/IEC 7810) is 85.60 mm x 53.98 mm. Keeping these proportions is crucial so the printed card fits inside standard wallet slots and lamination pouches.
How to Layout and Print Correctly
- Crop front and back: Open your digital e-Aadhaar PDF, zoom in, and crop the front and back segments separately.
- Layout onto A4: Place them side-by-side on an A4 canvas template.
- Check print scale: Ensure your printer settings are set to "Actual Size" or "100% Scale", not "Fit to Page" (which distorts dimensions).
Pro Tip: Use our Pro ID Card Printer tool to automatically crop and format your Aadhaar, PAN, or Voter card sides onto a standard A4 print sheet with exact pixel-to-millimeter conversions for wallet lamination!
